Sheikh Yazbek: The Resistance will not Allow Distorting Its Image, Right of Defense

Head of Juristic Council in Hizbullah Sheikh Mohammad Yazbek assured, "Hizbullah Will not allow distorting the image and reputation of the resistance that granted honor to Lebanon, Arabs, and all the nobles in the world", considering that the resistance has the right to defend itself when the Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL) or others assault it.

In a speech he delivered in Baalbek, Sheikh Yazbek renewed Hizbullah's request to establish a Lebanese committee to follow up the STL, indicating that Hizbullah is ready to give in the data it has to the committee if established.

His Eminence pointed out, "Hizbullah's distrust in the STL is because it excluded the theory that "Israel" is involved in the assassination of PM Rafiq Hariri, and because of its performance and the path it followed in the last years, in addition to the US administration's manipulation taking part in it".

Sheikh Yazbek assured, "Lebanon is not Iraq, and Hizbullah will not allow stirring up internal disorder and seduction."
