Arab Diplomatic sources in Beirut assured, "The Lebanese PM Saad Hariri will not comment on the new developments in Rafiq Hariri's assassination case, due to a Saudi request, because the latter is leading efforts with France and the United States in an attempt to avoid the indictment, and for its commitment to the pacification the Baabda tripartite summit imposed."

According to Syrian Al Watan newspaper, the sources considered that the Kingdom was not satisfied with Hizbullah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah's latest statement because it undermines Saudi efforts and disables them, and does not help in uncovering the truth, especially that Sayyed Nasrallah does not have evidences on "Israel's" involvement.

The sources added, "The international tribunal might use the information Sayyed Nasrallah presented to prove its "honesty", especially that Bellemare immediately demanded Sayyed Nasrallah's documents in an indication that the tribunal will not miss any evidence in search of the truth. However, Bellemare did not assign anyone to investigate with the arrested "Israeli" agents in the Lebanese prisons; neither did he arraign the false witnesses who misled the investigations. He didn't even start new interrogation after (Sayyed) Nasrallah's statement."

The paper quoted the sources in conclusion saying, "the tribunal had to ask for Hizbullah's documents to reassure its doubted honesty. However, in all cases, it will not have the ability to investigate what Sayyed Nasrallah presented because "Israel" was and will always be one of the countries that refuse to respond to any question asked by the international tribunal."

"In addition", the sources added, "Through its media, it appears clearly that "Israel" is updated with all the investigation's developments. The international tribunal has never regarded it as a suspect, which implies that any change in the path of the investigation means a change in the reasons behind Rafiq Hariri's assassination, and in this case, the international tribunal might uncover the involvement of important figures in the former American administration and "Israeli" government, and this cannot happen."
