Lebanese newspapers began their editorials on Monday 9 August on the long Press conference Hizbullah Secretary General, His Eminence Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah will be holding on the same day.
In his previous Press conference and in the Divine Victory's Anniversary speech, His Eminence announced Hizbullah's rejection to the international tribunal's indictment accusing "rogue" elements of Hizbullah of the assassination of PM Rafik Hariri. He stressed on the assumption he has been announcing since the assassination occurred which is "Israel's" involvement in the crime, as its instigative repercussions where all in the interest of the Zionist enemy.
Assafir newspaper's introduction pointed out that in his Monday press conference, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah will uncover documents and information capable of making "Israel" the "first objectively" accused suspect involved in the crime of assassinating PM Hariri, while the international investigation has been ignoring the "Israeli" involvement assumption throughout this entire period.
(Sayyed) Nasrallah will reveal important information relying on audios and visuals that would make a turning point in the trial's course. He will highlight the "Israeli" Moussad's role through a Lebanese agent in making PM Rafik Hariri believe that Hizbullah intends to assassinate him, the paper reported, adding that (Sayyed) Nasrallah might publish the agent's confessions.
According to Assafir, it is also expected that (Sayyed) Nasrallah would publish details on other breakpoints that would affect the investigation.
The Lebanese daily quoted well-informed sources saying that (Sayyed) Nasrallah will open new horizons for the investigation that the international tribunal could consider in its inquiry if it actually wanted it to be an honest and realistic one.
Assafir indicated that Hizbullah Secretary General has constantly pointed out that ignoring the "Israeli" assumption is an offense to PM (Rafik) Hariri. Furthermore, the concerned people's insistence on ignoring this assumption and radicalizing it, despite the existence of all motivations and capabilities for "Israel" to commit this crime, is what led (Sayyed) Nasrallah to reveal his information and prevent all attempts to divert the path into a false one that does not serve the truth.
On its part, Al Akhbar newspaper's editorial stated that the press conference Sayyed Nasrallah will be holding tonight is regarded as the most important one among all (Sayyed) Nasrallah's media appearances. He will deal with information and indications clarifying (Sayyed) Nasrallah's announcement a few day ago of "Israel's" involvement in the assassination.
According to the paper, Sayyed Nasrallah will present in the conference (that a big crowd of Lebanese, Arab, and International journalists and news agencies representatives were invited to) documents including audio and visual data. In addition, he will present the reasons behind his accusation to "Israel". (Sayyed) Nasrallah will announce that all the documents Hizbullah has are in service of the concerned authorities in Lebanon to examine them.
As for "Israel", the Lebanese paper added that a high official in "Israeli" PM Benjamin Netanyahu's office said that Hizbullah's accusation to "Israel" indicates the extent of concern Hizbullah has.
According to the "Israeli" source, Al Akhbar added, "Accusing "Israel" is ridiculous, and everyone realizes that." "When Hizbullah starts such accusations, it is evidence to the pressure it is being exposed to," he added.
In an interview with Jerusalem Post on Sunday, the "Israeli" source proceeded, "Hizbullah will face trouble if accused of the assassination, therefore, it is looking for a way out."
On his part "Israeli" Internal and Public Security Committee member and former head of the Shabak, Avy Dekhter said that Hizbullah Secretary-General realizes that any future confrontation with "Israel" whether wide or limited, will lead to involving him.
In an interview with an "Israeli" radio station, Dekhter added that (Sayyed) Nasrallah's latest statements, "aim at distracting the public opinion and media away from what is expected in Lebanon especially as the investigation's decision will be issued soon with the possibility of accusing Hizbullah."
Additionally, Al Diyar newspaper expanded the Lebanese agent's case in convincing PM Rafik Hariri that Hizbullah wants to assassinate him.
The paper added that the "Israeli" assumption, which the international tribunal's reports ignored, has been the center of questions of many, and the media information revealed that a businessman informed PM Rafik Hariri that Hizbullah wants to assassinate him and he should be careful. At that time, the businessman was arrested in Syria then was taken back to Lebanon, however disappeared after that. Knowing that in Syria, the businessman admitted that "Israel" operated him to inform PM Hariri with that.
According to the information, since 1993 "Israel" has been involved in the assassination, and has been working on its division projects by operating spies in Lebanon and stirring up incitements between members of the same sect.
