OIC Condemns Recent “Israeli” Aggressions on Lebanon

The Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) Secretary General Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu condemned the recent "Israeli" aggressions against Lebanon, representing a clear violation of the UN Security Council resolution 1701, which demands a cease-fire on Lebanese-"Israeli" borders.
Ihsanoglu considered the "Israeli" aggressions as dangerous escalations that would increase tension in the situation in the region. On the other hand, the OIC expressed its solidarity with Lebanon and the Lebanese for their defense of their country.
According to the organization's website, OIC Secretary General urged the Security Council and international community to condemn the constant "Israeli" violations of the Lebanese territories and airspace.
Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu presented condolences to the families of the martyrs who passed away during the recent clashes.
