Moussawi: US Administration Pressured Lebanese Army into Psychological Warfare

Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc member Nawwaf Moussawi commented on the recent US stances in an interview with intiqad.net, saying, "US congress members are competing among themselves for being the most supportive to the Zionist entity".
MP Moussawi added that Ron Klain's stance reflected the shock of some or all members in the US administration, which occurred after witnessing the Lebanese army holding responsibility and defending its country and people.
Nawwaf Moussawi considered that the "Israeli" and the US sides thought that the Lebanese army they're dealing with now is exactly the same as the army they dealt with during 2006 July war in the Marjeyoun Barrack.
"The Lebanese army was able, through its national doctrine, soldiers' and commanders' courage, despite the difference in military abilities, to prove that it is capable of confronting and presenting sacrifices", Moussawi added.
Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc member referred that the US administration always aims at protecting "Israel's" security, calling upon the Lebanese government to seek alternative weaponry sources for arming the army, since according to Moussawi, the US aids seem to be conditional.
MP Moussawi referred to what H.E. Hizbullah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah addressed a year ago, regarding the possibility of enhancing military cooperation with Syria on the level of training and arming.
H.E. also gave opportunities for military cooperation with the Islamic republic of Iran, in addition to other countries like Russia and China, taking into consideration the Lebanese economy standers.
"The US administration pressured the Lebanese army into a psychological warfare, where it tried to place the army in the position of the aggressor", Moussawi referred.
MP Nawwaf Moussawi pointed out, "There is an ongoing US political war against the Lebanese army, and political forces are then responsible for standing in solidarity with the military firm, on the basis of supporting the army during its task, which is fighting off the "Israeli" aggression".
Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc member wondered where the UNIFIL troops were during clashes in Odaisseh between the "Israeli" enemy and the Lebanese army, especially where resolution 1701 states that the UNIFIL must support the Lebanese army in spreading sovereignty.
Concerning the possibility of a new war, Nawwaf Moussawi said that there are no symptoms for a soon upcoming war, stressing that what occurred in Odaisseh is nothing but part of the constant "Israeli" breaches of the Lebanese sovereignty.
"What was new this time is the Lebanese army's position in adopting a tough stance in confronting the Zionist aggressions on the battlefield", Moussawi said, referring that the Lebanese army has been successfully fighting off aerial and coastal violations.
