Military Sources to Intiqad.net: National Sovereignty, Lebanese Territories A Red Line

High-ranked military sources in the Lebanese army confirmed to intiqad.net that what happened Tuesday regarding "Israeli" troops cutting off trees on the borders is as assault and a drawback in the situation.

Concerning the Lebanese army's reaction on this new violation, the sources stated that each incident has its decision, plan and location,adding, "Not because the "Israelis" attempt to flame a quarrel we join in, for that would serve the "Israeli" interests, yet we calculate all positive and negative aspects".

Military sources stressed to intiqad.net saying, "National sovereignty is a red line, and our land is a red line, yet if any drawback occurred we should know whether the land that we are fighting on is Lebanese or Palestinian. This matter should be examined."

Sources added that the territories on which Lebanese army and "Israeli" troops clashes occurred Tuesday, were in an isolated area and no one is allowed to trespass if not under the UNIFIL supervision.
