Hizbullah Secretary General Meets with Lebanese Speaker

Hizbullah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah met last night Sunday with Lebanese Speaker of Parliament Nabih Berri, where both parts discussed latest news and updates.

In this context, Hizbullah Media Relations issued to following statement:

Hizbullah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah met last night with Lebanese Speaker of Parliament Nabih Berri, in the presence of Speaker Berri's political advisor Ali Hassan Khalil, and Hizbullah Secretary General's political advisor, Husein Khalil.

Both parties discussed important and latest developments in Lebanon and the region, especially regarding the trilateral Lebanese-Syrian-Saudi summit, which was held recently in Beirut.

They also discussed expected and hoped results of the summit, which echo delicate and sensitive circumstances in which the country is living.

In the meeting, Hizbullah Secretary General and Speaker Berri praised the special, brotherly, and historic visit of Prince of Qatar, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifeh Al Thani, where he toured in the heroic southern villages, as an honest expression of his stance with Lebanon, its army, people, and resistance.

They described that Qatar Prince's visit also came as a coronation of huge efforts exerted by Qatar, in defending the land of resistance and sacrifices, in addition to rebuilding what the "Israeli" aggression demolished in the July 2006, where the southerners expressed ostentatious gratitude for this blessed visit.

The officials also condemned in the meeting the "Israeli" threats' campaign launched by the enemy leaders, which represents a clear targeting of Lebanon; people, government, and institution, in order to demolish its national unity and its institutions' ability.

They further condemned the daily "Israeli" violations of the Lebanese airspace, which represents a clear violation of resolution 1701.

Both parties followed up with what security firms have recently achieved, concerning revealing espionage agents' networks and dismantling them from public and private institutions.

They considered this a national accomplishment, calling for extreme penalty in return of the agent's crimes, also referring to the "Israeli" attempt as an outrageous violation of the whole country.

Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and Speaker Nabih Berri, confirmed the profoundness of the strategic
relation between the Amal movement and Hizbullah in confronting all interior and foreign merits.

They concluded stressing on constant coordination on the level of leadership in all situations, whether political, social, and others.
