Hajj Hassan: Accusing Hizbullah is An American-"Israeli" Incitement Scheme Targeting Resistance
Minister of Agriculture Hussein Hajj Hassan stressed on, "complete rejection of accusing any Hizbullah member and under any title."
He considered that, "this accusation is an American-"Israeli" incitement project that aims at targeting the resistance and imposing a situation July war failed to impose."
In a ceremony celebrating the birth anniversary of Imam Mahdi (May God hasten his appearance) and the July war anniversary, Hajj Hassan considered that the accusation directed to Hizbullah is unjust, just like previous accusations against Syria, the four officers, in addition to Lebanese and Syrian civilians were unjust. All these come in context of the same project that dragged Lebanon into crisis in the past years," he added.
Hajj Hassan proceeded, "those who speak about international justice and honesty in this tribunal have previously referred to it in accusing Syria and the four officers."
"They stirred up incitements during the past years and split the country into one side calling for truth and justice, and another allying with those falsely accused of the assassination. Today, they are trying to split the Lebanese again between a side requesting the truth, and another that is accused.
" However, he added, "We all want truth, justice, and retaliation against the criminals."
Hajj Hassan indicated that the Lebanese have been living this phase because of the unjust and fabricated indictment against Hizbullah which supposedly should be issued under the title of "undisciplined members".
He considered that now, some Lebanese aim at preventing the Americans and "Israelis" from dragging the country into incitements and preserving stability, and others handed over the country's reins to the Americans and to the investigation inquiry that proved to be neither credible nor professional, and fabricated false witnesses as well as unjust accusations."
He wondered if they want to relive the same experience. Hajj Hassan pointed out that, "along with Hizbullah, many Lebanese reject this unjust indictment," and wondered how can officials be responsible if they do not stand by truth and justice and reject unjust accusations?
