PA Offers Honorary Citizenships for Gaza Flotilla Participants

After participating in the Freedom Flotilla aid convoy to Gaza, participants received an offer of obtain Palestinian citizenship by receiving a Palestinian passport, which comes as a gesture of thanks for their efforts. Haaretz newspaper reported.

It was learned that a Palestinian Authority part gave out this offer to a member in the IHH, the Turkish humanitarian relief organization which heads the Freedom Flotilla.

As honorable as the offer seems, some IHH and other participants in the flotilla decided against it after they read a report by Zionist Haaretz newspaper.

The Haaretz Report stated the shortage of passports for Gazans, in addition to the fact that the Palestinian Authority intelligence is preventing issuing passports to certain Palestinian individuals.

Since "Israel" remains the occupying power in the occupied territories, the granted passports will not have any effect or use what so ever as long as "Israeli" still controls the ins and outs to and from the occupied lands.
