Al Diyar: Khalil Calls on Hariri to reject any International Tribunal Decision, Describes Meeting as Candid

The Tuesday meeting between PM Saad Hariri and Hizbullah Secretary General Political Advisor Hussein Khalil was totally candid, but the issues discussed still need more communication, Lebanese Al Diyar newspaper reported.

Khalil assured that, "Everyone wants to know the truth on Rafik Hariri's assassination, but the tribunal's work is politicized, and this is clear through its performance and work. This should be rejected by PM Hariri and all sides."

Khalil warned of the international wave aiming at stirring up the internal situation, and called for cooperating with PM Hariri to preserve internal welfare.

However, on the tribunal's issue, he stressed that, "the international tribunal's work is doubtful. It is taking its decision based on the Telecoms issue, and everybody now realizes the "Israeli" violation in this field."

Hizbullah Secretary General Political Advisor called on the country and the government to reject any decision issued by the international tribunal, because it is politicized and will ruin the situation in the country.

Khalil praised Hariri's stance as he would not accept any decision issued by the international tribunal that is not based on evidences and proofs, and as he appreciated Hizbullah and its role in liberating the land from occupation. Khalil also emphasized the persistent communication between the two sides."
