Rahme: The Current Situation is a Third War Against Lebanon
MP Emile Rahme expected that the news conference Hizbullah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah would include surprises and hot topics.
He pointed out that concerns and criticism against Sayyed Nasrallah would not affect him especially that the containment of tensions and exclusion of incitements are the basic interests of Hizbullah Secretary General.
In an interview with Al Manar TV channel, Rahme wondered why some persist on bringing out the May 7 incidents, while most of them barely remember the actual reason behind it.
He added, "Wasn't it due to the critical decisions made on May 5?"
By that, Rahme criticized Head of the Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea's offensive speech against Hizbullah and the resistance, and his continuous predictions on future assassinations.
On the other hand, Rahme praised the positive role president Michel Suleiman and PM Saad Hariri are playing in pacifying the atmosphere.
Regarding the Lebanese-Syrian relationship, Rahme reassured that the Syrian leadership is supportive to the resistance arms and people, especially after the internal and external campaign against it, and criticized including Hizbullah's name in the assassination of PM Rafik Hariri's case.
Rahme considered that there have been three wars against Lebanon, the first was by assassinating PM Rafik Hariri, the second was the July war, and the third is the current situation in Lebanon.
