Iranian Speaker of Parliament, Ali Larijani, referred to the settlement process in the region as an entertainment game, which has not achieved anything.

In the same context, Larijani confirmed that the Zionist entity felt some frustration and defeat after its failure in July 2006 war on Lebanon, in addition to its failure in its 2008-2009 war on Gaza.

Iranian Speaker of Parliament added that all data refer that this entity felt that its dignity has been flushed away, adding that the "Israeli" threats on Lebanon, did not in any way affect it.

In an interview with Lebanese An-Nahar newspaper, in the light of the World Conference of Speakers of Parliament, Ali Larijani said, "There is no doubt that "Israelis" are very afraid from Hizbullah's strength and its capabilities. "Israeli" officials know very well that this force stems from the party's symbol, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah".

Iranian Speaker of Parliament praised what he called "historic ties", which Iran and Lebanon maintain.

"We have historic and cultural ties with the Lebanese people. We are proud of the good ties between the two countries and all Lebanese sects", Larijani told An-Nahar newspaper.
