Speaker of the House, Nabih Berri, continued Tuesday his participation in the works of the Third International Conference for heads of world parliaments taking place in Switzerland.

At the sidelines of the Conference, Speaker Berri held a series of meetings with a number of heads of participating parliaments.

In this framework, Speaker Berri met Tuesday noon at his Hotel suite with Armenian House Speaker Hovic Ibrahamian where they discussed bilateral relations and cooperation between the Lebanese and Armenian Parliaments.

Berri then met with Uruguay Speaker Ivon Pasada where they discussed developments, bilateral relations and the situation of Lebanese expatriate community members in Uruguay.

Berri also met with Belarusian Speaker Anatolli Robinov where they discussed latest developments and bilateral relations.

On the other hand, in response to a question about talks of a potential "Israeli" war on Lebanon, Speaker Berri ruled out the occurrence of this war and stressed that attention ought to be devoted to dealing with internal, social and daily living affairs.
