Greek Demonstrators Condemn Zionist Crimes, Delay an "Israeli" Flight
A demonstration in Greece led to a two-hour delay of an "Israeli" flight heading to the Palestinian Occupied Territories.
In an act of solidarity with Palestinians and condemnation of the Zionist crimes, members of the Labor Union of Greece gathered at Athens International Airport on Wednesday blocking five airline check-in counters.
The Associated Press quoted the Union spokesman Giorgos Pontikos saying, "This act is in solidarity with the Palestinian people and their efforts to establish a Palestinian state."
Pontikos added that police were present at the scene of the protest but did not intervene.
Athens airport officials stated that after the two-hour delay, the flight eventually departed to Ben Gurion Airport in the occupied territories, with 99 passengers on board.
