On July 13 2006, after the resounding slap the Zionist entity received, when two of its soldiers were captured and eight others killed, the enemy expanded its attacks on Lebanon all the way to Beirut airport, and its Zionist warplanes attacked the runways in waves, badly damaging it.
A succession of raids went on for several days, resulting in the disruption of air traffic, in addition nearly 100 bridges in different Lebanese regions were bombed. The enemy deliberately attempted to tear the country apart in a malicious move to pit the Lebanese against the resistance, but this goal was met with complete failure.
