After an official stance which claimed that UAE, Germany, and Britain are refusing to refuel Iranian planes in their airports, an Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson, Ramin Mehmanparast said that those claims were false. AFP reported.

Yet it is said that the rumors started off from Western sources, as the US imposed new sanctions on Iran against its nuclear program, thus according to these measures, the US considers that if any company supplies Iran with fuel would be penalized.

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) on its behalf announced that its airports will continue to refuel Iranian planes while operating in their country, confirming that no change has been occurring regarding the UAE airport services to Iranian planes.

On the other hand, Germany as well denied all what was said regarding its refusal to supply Iran with Fuel. According to DPA news agency, a spokesperson from the German Federal Ministry of Transportation, said Monday, "Providing Fuel to the Iranian passenger airliners at Germany's airport is not considered as prohibited under United Nation's statutory conventions as well as European Union's sanction regulations".

The UN Security Council imposed fresh sanctions against Iran's peaceful nuclear program, in addition to unilateral US measures, trying to impose new sanctions.

Iran dismissed all sanctions imposed, stressing they would never effect its country or its country's progress, especially that it's a signatory in the Nuclear Nor-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), and under the supervision of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
