Barak Urges "Israel" for More Unilateral Steps to Retreat from South Lebanon, Detach from Gaza
Zionist War Minister Ehud Barak reassured his trust in his decision to withdraw from South Lebanon in the year 2000, after Hizbullah resistance fighters operated successfully against the occupation army.
In a speech Barak delivered in a conference for the Strategic Studies Institute, he called for further steps for complete withdrawal saying, ""Israel" should take more unilateral steps for retreating from South Lebanon and detaching from Gaza strip."
Barak added that he is "proud of the decision of retreating from Lebanon year 2000".
On his part, head of the military investigation in "Israel's" probe against the Gaza aid carrying Freedom Flotilla, Major General Giora Eiland said, "If the security services were preparing to confront the flotilla a few months ago, its maneuvers would've been on a higher level".
The "Israeli" navy commando attacked the Freedom Flotilla aid convoy to Gaza in last May 31. The assault resulted in the death of 9 Turkish activists, and injured 60 others of different nationalities.
