S. Korean-US Joint Maneuvers by Next July

US War Ministry expected to conduct joint military maneuvers with South Korea during next July. These maneuvers would be considered a part of measures taken after the Northern Korean attempt to drown the South Korean ship last March.
Pentagon spokesperson Bryan Whitman, mentioned that both sides are currently discussing the issue in detail.
It was scheduled that both sides are to conduct maneuvers by the beginning of June, yet it was postponed till after the discussions over the Korean issue in the UN Security Council.
"USS George Washington" aircraft carrier, combat fighters and marine ships, will be taking part in the joint military maneuvers.
The South Korean-US relations have been recently developing, planning on including military and technological joint experiences throughout the development of their relations.
