Like Mother Like Daughter: “Israel” Spies on Lebanese “Alfa” GSM Network
As the United States and the "Israeli" entity stand side by side in whatever anti-Lebanese action is possible, "Israel" follows up with the US latest scandal of requesting location of cell phone transmitters, yet this time, "Israel" aces high.
In its aim to maintain all possible aspects of controlling and spying on Lebanese firms and individuals, "Israel" has managed to gather as much spies as possible, who would join its Mossad spy network.
The Lebanese army intelligence has been recently exerting great effort in seizing "Israeli"-funded spying networks.
Again, the Lebanese army intelligence was able to expose and detain another spy, yet this time in one of the most sensitive situations and positions.
Charbel Q., Head of the Transmission and Broadcast department of Alfa, which is one of two GSM cell phone networks in Lebanon, was detained Thursday by the Lebanese army intelligence, for the charge of dealing with the Zionist enemy.
According to Ad Diyar Lebanese newspaper, the information which Charbel Q. provided "Israel" with, were very sensitive and would harm Lebanon's national security.
After investigations, the detained spy confessed that he had been recruited by "Israel" since the year 1996.
As Head of the Transmission and Broadcast department in the company, the suspect had access to countless amounts of information, including highly-sensitive data about cellular transmission centers and repartition of mobile telecommunication stations. Sources informed of the company's mode of operation reported.
His position helped him during the July war 2006, where he could easily locate any Alfa GSM user by his phone on all Lebanese territories, indicating the number and identity of the user, an easier way for the "Israelis" to attack.
In this context, Lebanese Telecommunication Minister, Charbel Nahhas, told As-Safir newspaper that he contacted the Alfa Company, after finding out about the suspect's accusations, to make sure that he was arrested.
Nahhas said that although Charbel Q. is only a member of the company's technical staff, and not in a managerial position, he might have had access to many important and dangerous data; this should absolutely not be belittled.
And there we go; another "Israeli" spy in one of the most trusted companies in Lebanon. "Israel" is indeed working on the destruction of our inner firms in order to demolish our national security. If people are easily bribed to betray, then alas, Lebanon will remain as always has been: a fairytale impossible to be true.
