“Israeli” Force Kidnaps Citizen from Inside Liberated Territories, UNIFIL Confirms Kidnap

The National News Agency reported Sunday that an "Israeli" military force kidnapped this afternoon the citizen, Imad Hassan Atwi (37 years from the town of Sheba'a), while he was watching his sheep in the "Seddana Farm" situated inside the Lebanese territories alongside the borderline. The kidnapped citizen was taken into one of the military bases inside the occupied Sheba'a Farms.
A Lebanese military force immediately arrived at the scene and began inspections, alongside UNIFIL patrol units.
UNIFIL official spokesman, Nirage Sink, commented on the "Israeli" kidnapping, describing it as an act of "detention". He stated that in accordance with the preliminary information available to the UNIFIL, the "Israeli" enemy has detained a Lebanese citizen from the surrounding region of Sheba'a, who is currently held by the "Israeli" Army.
Sink also declared that the UNIFIL General Commander, General Alberto Asarta, is in continuous contact with the various sides for the sake of solving the situation at hand. He added that the UNIFIL has also dispatched an investigation team to the region for the sake of unveiling the details of the incident.
