Holland Ready to Pay Expenses for Lawsuit Against "Israel"
Coordinator of the "European Campaign to Lift the Siege on Gaza" Amin Abu Rashed, along with Anne De Jong and other Dutch citizens who were on board of the Freedom Flotilla that faced the "Israeli" deadly raid, filed a lawsuit against the "Israeli" government.
Abu Rashed told reporters that they will ask for a compensation for the moral and material damage caused during their abduction from international waters.
The Dutch government had been supportive to the Dutch activists' case and had been following the news about their abduction, Abu Rashed said.
In parallel, the Dutch Foreign Ministry informed activists that it would bear all the lawsuit expenses.
The Dutch Consul in Turkey had welcomed the activists in the airport in Istanbul, and offered them all the assistance to secure their return to the Netherlands, where representatives of the Dutch government greeted them at the airport of Amsterdam.
