The Russian Foreign Ministry demanded "Israel" to take measures to end the humanitarian crisis, and lift the siege it has been imposing on Gaza for four years.

The ministry released a statement stating that the Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov had a phone call with his "Israeli" counterpart Avigdor Lieberman, where they discussed the latest developments in talks with the Palestinian authority.

Lavrov also demanded "Israel" to lift the Siege on Gaza, and stressed on the importance of advancing peace talks in the Middle East based on the principles of the International Law.

"Peace, security and stability in the region, not only with the Palestinians, but also with Lebanon and other countries, require implementing the International Law," the statement included.
