French Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner, and his British counterpart, William Hague, expressed in a join conference the need for "a credible and transparent investigation".

"There should be an international presence at minimum," AFP quoted Hague saying.

On his behalf, Kouchner noted the need of the international investigation, because many countries were involved in the "fatal incident", as he put it.

He also offered monitoring cargo on board the ships setting sail to Gaza, as a defusing of the crisis.

The French Minister proposed that the European Union would well check the cargo of the ongoing ships to Gaza.

French President Nicolas Sarkozy called upon the "Israeli" PM Benjamin Netanyahu to accept the request of a UN credible and impartial inquiry to investigate the "Israeli" brutal attack on the Freedom Flotilla convoy ship.

Although any countries have called for an international inquiry regarding the attack, the "Israeli" ambassador to the UN has repeatedly rejected those demands.
