Biden Justifies "Israels" Actions to Stop Gaza Aid Flotillas
US vice president told his legitimate for "Israel" to say, "I don't know what's on that ship. Hamas is dropping 3,000 rockets on my people," "Israeli" newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth's website reported on Wednesday.
In his comment after "Israel's" Monday attack on Freedom Flotilla, Biden backed "Israel's" right to board ships bound for Gaza to prevent weapons smuggling.
"The United States was careful in its response to the deadly raid, and did not join the international condemnation of "Israel's" use of force to stop the ships," the report added.
""Israel" has an absolute right to deal with its security interest," Biden said in an interview on PBS's "Charlie Rose" show, while repeating US administration's support for an investigation on what happened.
"They ("Israel") have said, 'Here you go. You're in the Mediterranean. If you divert slightly north you can unload it and we'll get the stuff into Gaza." So what's the big deal here?" Biden said.
"What's the big deal of insisting it go straight to Gaza?" he asked.
Knowing that, "Israel" has been imposing a three-year siege over Gaza, not allowing the transfer of any kind of aid into the strip.
The occupation have previously received aid from several countries to deliver to Gaza, under the claim of "security checking" no arms are among the aids; however, these aids were rarely delivered to the Gazans.
