Sayyed Nasrallah Meets with New Iranian Ambassador to Lebanon

Hizbullah Secretary General His Eminence Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah met on Tuesday with Iran's new ambassador to Lebanon, Ghandafar Rukun Abadi, to discuss political developments in Lebanon and the region, according to a statement issued by the party's media office.

Abadi was accompanied by a delegation from the Iranian Embassy, the statement said, without giving further details.

Abadi replaces former Iranian Ambassador to Lebanon Mohammad Reza Shibani, whose term ended in October 2009.
