Minister of Administrational Development, Mohammad Fneish confirmed that it was Lebanon's right to purchase all self-defense methods, and it is not the enemy's business to interfere or impose on the Lebanese the defense system to choose. Fneish also referred that the government has specified their defense means through a clear equation, which includes the people, army, and resistance.

Minister of Administrational Development considered that every hustle or clamor of the enemy and its supporters, aims at incitement and inattention to the "Israeli" violations in occupied Palestine.

Fneish clarified, "We are not afraid of the enemy's threats, and we will not -for any moment- lose sight of the enemy's intentions and preparations to change the formula, and we should provide all reasons to defend our country".

On another level, Fneish called upon reforming the municipal elections' law, stating that it has become a necessity, demanding the development of the municipal work as part of the administrative decentralization system, hoping that it would be discussed and convened after municipal elections.

Minister Fneish's speech came during sponsoring the first Guiding Conference, which was organized by the Islamic Center Assembly for Guidance and Higher Education.
