The meeting was an opportunity to deliberate on the extent to which the Zionist project threats to land, rights and sanctities reached in Palestine. Deliberations covered ways to face this enemy, fortify the internal Palestinian situation, build national unity and accomplish reconciliation.

In the Lebanese-Palestinian relations, the need to cement and strengthen these relations was also addressed in order to ensure the right of return for Palestinian refugees and to face the threat of resettlement.
