“Islamophobia” on the rise in France

The head of the Union of Islamic Organizations of France, Fuad Alawi, has warned that “Islamophobia” is on rise in the country.

Fuad Alawi made the remarks in an annual meeting of the union.

The union is the second biggest body in the country that represents Muslims.

The union urged Muslim citizens of France to avoid being silent in the face of the rising trend and asked them to introduce "real Islam" to other citizens of the country.
