Hizbullah's Deputy Secretary General upped the ante against "Israel" after Sayyed Nasrallah blasted the enemy in his "Terror Balance" speech on Tuesday.

"We will make the resistance stronger and stronger, so "Israel" would fail to think of attacking Lebanon, let alone think of the gains and losses [of such war]," His Eminence Sheikh Naim Qassem stated in a political gathering yesterday with educators at the Jinan Hall in Beirut.

The resistance has become a matter-of-fact proving its efficacy. After all, the resistance created a liberation and victory.

Sheikh Qassem compared Lebanon and "Israel's" powers and concluded that the options created by the strength of Lebanon can't be compared to what would have happened if Lebanon was weak.

His Eminence stressed that the world speaks with Lebanon in a respectful tone due to its knowledge that Lebanon's people are not defeated, and that its resistance is capable of preserving these accomplishments, God willing.

Sheikh Qassem believed that Lebanon is still in need of the resistance, asserting that if it were not present, the Lebanese would have had to create one. His Eminence noted that the resistance's 2000 liberation was epical, unprecedented against "Israeli" occupation, and thus, it shattered the concept of the "invincible "Israeli" deterrence", and was capable in 2006 of proving to the world that the ‘weak' proved itself strong in its resistance, army, and people.

Qassem reiterated that the resistance is not under the influence of ‘other' countries, adding, "We are not fighting on anyone else's behalf; we fight for our own selves."
