1 Dead in Mine Collapse in Honduras

One person was killed on Tuesday and three were trapped after heavy rains triggered the collapse of a mountainside mine in Honduras, an official said.

The person was dragged out alive but later died of his injuries, fire chief Oscar Triminio said.

Two other people have been rescued alive from the rudimentary mine in the western department of Santa Barbara.
