Suicide Attack Kills 2 Police, Wounds 5 in Afghanistan

A suicide attack killed two police and injured five others in Helmand ’s provincial capital of Lashkar Gah in Afghanistan on Saturday morning, a senior police said.

"A terrorist with explosive device and wearing police uniform was attempting to enter a police compound in Lashkar Gah city at 08: 15 a.m. local time. When police asked him to prove his identity, he exploded himself leaving two police dead," Pacha Gul Bakhtiar said.

The bomber was also killed in the blast, while five other police personnel sustained injuries, the official said.
