Top Iranian Official on One-Day Visit to Beirut

The head of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council was in Beirut on Tuesday for talks with Lebanese officials, as-Safir Lebanese daily reported.

The newspaper added that General Ali Shamkhani arrived in Beirut on Monday night. He is expected to hold meetings with several officials during his one-day visit.
