Cameron: ISIL Mission in Iraq Could Take ’Years’

British Prime Minister David Cameron warned on Friday that a military mission against so-called "Daesh" extremists in Iraq could take years as he opened a debate in which MPs will vote on joining US-led air strikes.

"This is going to be a mission that will take not just months but years but I believe we have to be prepared for that commitment," he said.
