Israeli" Knesset Deputy Speaker Moshe Feiglin forced his way into Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied East al-Quds under the protection of "Israeli" forces on Sunday.

"Feiglin accompanied by 20 settlers stormed the Al-Aqsa compound through the Al-Mugharbi gate," an eyewitness said.
"Israeli" forces restricted the entry of Palestinian worshippers into the holy site during Feiglin’s visit, banning those under 40 from entering the mosque compound, the eyewitness added.

In recent months, groups of Jewish extremists, often accompanied by "Israeli" security forces, have repeatedly forced their way into the Al-Aqsa complex.

"Israel" occupied al-Quds during the 1967 Six-Day War, later annexing the holy city in 1980 and claiming it as the capital of the self-proclaimed Zionist entity.
Moreover, in September 2000, a visit to the site by controversial "Israeli" politician Ariel Sharon triggered what later became known as the Second Intifada - a popular uprising in which thousands of Palestinians were martyred by "Israel."
