Iran, Tajikistan Sign 9 Agreements on Economic, Cultural Cooperation

Iran and Tajikistan  signed nine agreements on economic and cultural cooperation and joint campaign against drug trafficking in the Tajik capital of Dushanbe
on Wednesday.

The nine agreements were signed in Dushanbe in the presence of Iranian President Hassan Rouhani and his Tajik counterpart Imomali Rahmon at the Nations Palace [Kohi Millat].

Rouhani arrived in Tajikistan earlier on Wednesday to attend the 14th summit meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization [SCO].

He is in Tajikistan on the second part of his five-day regional tour which had earlier taken him to Kazakhstan where he visited for the first time since he took office in August 2013.
