Zionist police announced on Tuesday that they had recommended to the State Attorney’s Office to indict former "Israel" War Forces chief of staff Gabi Ashkenazi with four other officials for involvement in high-level Harpaz affair corruption scandal.
Ashkenazi was recommended for trial on charges of passing secret information and breach of trust in the 2010 forgery case.
Police also recommended that a number of Ashkenazi associates investigated in the affair also be indicted, including former "Israel" War Forces spokesman Brig.-Gen. Avi Benayahu, and Col. Erez Winner, who served as Ashkenazi’s deputy.
In addition, police also recommended that Zionist Prime Minister Benjmin Netanyahu’s cabinet secretary Avichai Mandelblit, who served as Military Advocate General at the time of the Harpaz affair, be indicted.
