Haaretz: Internationalizing Gaza Disadvantages ’Israel’

According to the "Israeli" Haaretz website, the Palestinian struggle abroad will now take place at the International Criminal Court [ICC] where Palestinian Authority president Mahmoud Abbas is under pressure to sign the Rome Statute of the ICC, as it published in an article on Monday.

Abbas is under pressure to sign the Rome Statute and launch war-crime proceedings against any "Israeli" officer or soldier who took part in the war, the article wrote.

The author of the article, Zvi Bar’el, further wrote that, "Now that Hamas and Islamic Jihad say they have signed [the Rome Statute], Abbas may have no choice but to join as well."
