Attack on Iraqi Bus Kills 51 Prisoners, 9 Police

A shooting and bombing attack on a bus near Baghdad killed 51 prisoners and nine policemen Thursday, Justice Ministry and medical sources said.
The bus was transporting prisoners from a military base in the town of Taji to Baghdad when it was hit by roadside bombs, the sources said. Gunmen then opened fire.
The motive for the attack was not immediately clear.
