‘Miles of Smiles’ Humanitarian Aid Convoy Arrives in Gaza

A humanitarian convoy of activists from 21 nations worldwide arrived in the besieged Gaza Strip, in an effort to break an ongoing "Israeli" blockade of the area.

The international humanitarian convoy dubbed "Miles of Smiles 26" arrived in the besieged Gaza Strip through the Rafah crossing on Sunday and will stay there for a few days.

More than thirty activists from 21 nations worldwide are carrying humanitarian aid and medical supplies for hospitals in Gaza.
The head of the Miles of Smiles campaign, Isam Yousuf, stated that their convoy came to re-emphasize the size of international solidarity with the besieged Gaza population.

Over the past few years, the Miles of Smiles convoy has delivered humanitarian supplies to Palestinians in the impoverished region, defying the "Israeli" blockade.
