AL Chief in #Beirut: To Avoid #Lebanon any Conflict

Secretary General of the Arab League, Ahmed Abul Gheit, assured that the Arab states are understanding of Lebanon and they seek to avoid the country's implication in any conflict.

Upon his arrival at Beirut airport on Monday morning, Abul Gheit hailed the word delivered by Lebanon's permanent representative to the Arab League, Antoine Azzam, describing the diplomat as "dignified."

Abul Gheit and an accompanying delegation of the Arab League have arrived to Lebanon this morning for talks with President Michel Aoun and other senior officials.
