#UK Terror Arrests Up Nearly 70% Since Last Year, New Figures Show

The number of arrests for terror offences in the UK have risen almost 70 per cent in a year.

New statistics released by the Home Office show there were 379 arrests in the year to June, compared to 226 in the previous 12 months.

It is the highest number of terror arrests on record, coming in the period that saw four terror attacks hit London and Manchester.
