Once again, "Israel" won't spare a chance which might succeed in breaching the Lebanese security and as usual the "Israeli" entity counts on its wild imagination to serve this goal. For "Israel", cooking up a fabricated story has never been a problem, yet this time the tide turned.
On Monday 12-10-2009, breaking news topped the headlines in Lebanon, the Arab world and the "Israeli" entity. An "unclear" explosion hit the southern town of Teir Felsay leaving five people killed and several injured, including a local Hizbullah official and his son.
This is the scenario which was perceived by the Lebanese people, yet after few hours, the vagueness around what happened was clarified. It was a small blast that wounded just one person.
Accordingly, "Israel" has decided to spice things up, adding a video to the story. The video was produced by the "Israeli" army, showing some Lebanese men as "discarding dozens of rockets" out of Nasser Issa's home after Monday's explosion.
"Israel" Army spokeswoman Avital Leibowitz rushed to media outlets in order to sell the story, she said that the video was shot by an unmanned drone. She claimed the video shows men removing rockets in two trucks, stressing mainly on a large piece of equipment that could be a large rocket.
But, once again, the "Israeli imagination" has been washed away and the large "rocket" is nothing more than the rolled-up metal door to the garage where the explosion occurred.
Hezbollah's footage has been originally aired on Al Manar television channel, as it shows men loading a door into a covered truck while UN peacekeepers look on.
Unsurprisingly, the "Israeli" fabrications were adopted by Arab as well as international media outlets. Official Lebanese media resources said that Reuters contacted them and apologized for revealing false information. Reuters added the information was received from certain Lebanese media resource, mean while, investigations take place in Reuter's offices regarding what they regard as a media scandal.
In a related development, Lebanon has registered 15 "Israeli" violations of its airspace in addition to 10 sea and land violations in the period between Sept. 15 and 21. In a letter addressed to the U.N., Lebanon said the air violations included the roaming of "Israeli" spy warplanes over Lebanese air space as it has been the case in Teir Felsay blast.
In a interview with Timur Goksel, a Former Spokesperson and Senior Advisor for UNIFIL, on the latest Teir Felsay blast and ""israeli" violations, he says that the ""Israeli" violations have been taking place for 30 years almost on daily basis, adding that Lebanon should launch non-stop diplomatic campaign to slam ""Israeli" violations of UN resolution 1701 and that calling for condemning ""Israeli" actions shouldn't wait for a problem such as Teir Felsay blast to stir the issue.
Such ""Israeli" violation is not the first and won't be the last as well as the fabrications, yet Lebanon is not going to stand still in the face of such actions which aim to infringe the country's calmness and security.
