The Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Khamenei says the current sensitive situation of Iran should not be considered a crisis.
Addressing senior officials in Yazd Province, Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei said the situation in Iran has been sensitive since the Islamic Revolution.
"After the demise of the late Imam Khomeini, who was the pillar of the Islamic Republic, the enemies assumed that they could pave the way for the return of tyranny, through undermining the people's faith," said the Leader.
"Twenty-eight years after the Islamic Revolution, the bonds between the nation and government are still strong due to the people's devotion to the Revolution and Islam," Ayatollah Khamenei added.
The Leader reaffirmed that the enemies will not succeed in their plots to change the Iranian nation's sentiments towards the Islamic Revolution.
Ayatollah Khamenei called on the people not to allow weak candidates, who cannot resist the enemies' pressures, to be elected as Parliament Members.
