Hizbullah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah congratulated the Palestinian Resistance movement Hamas on the victory it has achieved against the Zionist brutal aggression in the Gaza Strip.

According to a statement released by Hamas, Sayyed Nasrallah praised, during a phone call he made with Hamas politburo head Khaled Meshaal, the Palestinian nation's sacrifices.

His eminence noted that the Palestinians have showed in the "Israeli" deadliest offensive against the besieged strip high levels of pride, haughtiness, glory, disdain, steadfastness and firmness.

Sayyed Nasrallah emphasized that the Zionist entity has witnessed in Gaza its second defeat in less than two years and a half, recalling of the first defeat of the "invincible" army in July 2006 in Lebanon.

Hizbullah Secretary General, meanwhile, saluted the Palestinian Resistance heroes for their role in achieving the victory, pointing out that they lined up united in the battle of confrontation and fight.

For his part, Meshaal thanked Sayyed Nasrallah and Hizbullah in general for the stances they have taken during the Gaza operation, noting that the Lebanese group was always standing by the side of the Palestinian nation and its Resistance.
