Pinched by the truth of his collaboration with the ‘Israelis' in the Gaza Genocide, Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Abul Gheit assailed Hizbullah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah for calling on the Egyptian people to stand with their brothers being slaughtered in Gaza.

Sayyed Nasrallah urged Egyptians in their "millions" to take to the streets to force their government to open the country's crossing with Gaza, where ‘Israel' is conducting deadly air raids against Palestinians. The leader of the resistance urged the pride and noble people of Egypt "who we know what really lies in their hearts to take to the streets. If the people took to the streets by the millions, could the police kill millions of Egyptians? People of Egypt, you must open this crossing by the force of your chests," he said. "We know that Egyptian officers and soldiers adhere to their authentic Arab identity. I am not calling for a coup in Egypt, but those officers should tell their government that they are not with watching the Palestinian people being slaughtered while they guard ‘Israel's' border," Sayyed Nasrallah said.

"Someone yesterday called on the Egyptian people to take to the streets and create an atmosphere of anarchy. In other words, they want an atmosphere of anarchy similar to the one they created in their own country," Gheit told a press conference in Ankara, without naming Sayyed Nasrallah.

"This person also called on the Egyptian armed forces, but he is not aware of the situation. If you do not know, let me tell you that the Egyptian armed forces are tasked with defending Egypt. If need be, they will also protect Egypt against people like you," he added. What threat does Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah pose to people like Aboul Gheit had the latter not been up to his nose in collaboration?

Abul Gheit arrived in Turkey for talks with Turkish leaders on the ‘Israeli' offensive on the Gaza Strip.

While Abul Gheit was speaking, Egyptian security forces were on high alert to suppress some 20,000 Egyptians who took to the streets of Cairo in support for Gaza.

On Sunday, dozens of Palestinians tried to cross into Egypt, only to be stopped by Egyptian police firing into the air.

Meanwhile, Egypt denied access during the daytime to Qatari aids into Gaza for still unclear reasons. Health Minister in Ismail Haniyeh's government earlier denied Aboul Gheit's allegations that Hamas was banning injured Palestinians from reaching Rafah crossing. Bassem Naim accused Egypt of obstructing the arrival of Arab and international aids to Gazans. "Many countries have sent their aids to Arish and Cairo, and they include medical supplies and operation rooms equipment as well as aids sent by the doctors' syndicate in Egypt. However none of these aids have been delivered to Gaza under the pretext of vague administrational procedures especially in these circumstances. Moreover, the North Sinaii Mayor, who is the highest political figure there said that the reason of delay was the lack of an official and legitimate side in Gaza to coordinate the delivery of the aids."

The Egyptian government is under pressure for its positions with regards to the ‘Israeli' war on Gaza, the closure of the Rafah crossing and the reservation to holding an Arab summit to discuss Gaza.

Abul Gheit and his government came under fire from the Arab media and the public opinion as the top diplomat sought to justify ‘Israel's' fierce attack on Gaza and put the blame on the resistance group Hamas. He said ‘Israel' will not stop its attack as long as rocket firing continues from Gaza.

Egyptian embassies, particularly in Beirut, witnessed angry demonstrations demanding Cairo takes an honorable and historic stance to save the Gazans from genocide. At least 350 Palestinians have been killed so far in less than three days of ‘Israeli' aggression.

Abul Gheit said in joint press conference with PA leader Mahmoud Abbas Sunday, that the Rafah crossing was opened to receive the wounded but claimed that Hamas, without naming it, was not allowing the injured to cross.

Hamas firmly denied Abul Gheit's allegations and said that Egypt should also open the crossing for the living. Moreover, ‘Israeli' warplanes bombed Rafah Sunday blocking Palestinian attempts to cross into Egypt.
