The much awaited meeting between Hizbullah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and Future MP Saad Hariri has finally taken place...
Indeed, Sayyed Nasrallah met with MP Hariri on Sunday night for the first time since the ‘Israeli' 2006 July war against Lebanon in the presence of Sayyed Nasrallah's political adviser Hajj Hussein Khalil at one side, the head of Hariri's office Nader Hariri and Mr. Mustafa Nasser at the other.
The meeting tackled the latest political developments in Lebanon and the region. It was also devoted for a primary reconsideration and review for the previous stage in an attempt to assimilate its repercussions in an atmosphere of frankness and openness.
Sayyed Nasrallah and MP Hariri stressed, during the meeting, on the importance of consolidating the national unity and civil peace as well as the necessity to take all needed procedures to prevent sedition and internal tension. They highlighted the need to abide by dialogue and communication between the various political factions in the country regardless of political difference as the means to avert sedition.
Hizbullah Secretary General and Future MP also agreed on the promotion of the government's actions, the attachment to the Taif Accord and implementation of Doha agreement. They focused on the necessity of pursuing contacts and encouraging dialogue through applying ground and media calm.
