"Israeli" government authorized a bill that would criminalize filming of the "Israeli" soldiers' atrocities against the Palestinians while on duty.

’Israel’ Plans to Jail Anyone Filming Its Atrocities

According to Haaretz, the Knesset is expected to vote in favor of the proposed law, sponsored by MK Robert Ilatov [Yisrael Beiteinu].

The version of the bill approved by the Ministerial Committee for Legislation calls for a five-year prison term for anyone filming or distributing footage on social media that documents confrontations between "Israeli" soldiers and Palestinians, with the intent to "break the spirit of "Israeli" soldiers and inhabitants.

It would give 10 years in jail to those intending to damage so-called "Israel's" "national security."

In recent months, "Israeli" troops have on numerous occasions been caught on camera brutally killing Palestinians, with the videos going viral online and sparking condemnations of the regime's military.

A video circulated online in April showed the moment an "Israeli" sniper shoots an unarmed Palestinian protester near the border fence in the besieged enclave. The sniper and the other soldiers are heard rejoicing following the "successful" shooting.

"Israeli" War Minister Avigdor Lieberman hailed the bill in a tweet. "I congratulate
the Ministerial Committee for Legislation for approving the Yisrael Beiteinu bill that bans taking pictures of our security forces with the purpose of delegitimizing them," he wrote.

He further added: ""Israeli" soldiers are under attack from groups of people who want to destroy "Israel" and support terror who want to discredit, humiliate and harm them. Let's put an end to this!,"
