Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said his meetings in Brussels send an important political message to the world.
'The meetings with High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini and foreign ministers of the UK, Germany and France were held to start suitable measures,' Zarif told reporters on Wednesday.
European countries put together a list of the most important measures that they should take, he added.
'It was a good start showing the fact that Iran nuclear deal is independent and has nothing to do with other issues.'
Relatively, Zarif added that signatories' commitments in the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action [JCPOA] are independent of other issues.
He also referred to Europe's summit on Wednesday saying they will discuss Iran Deal.
The joint commission meeting will be held with the attendance of 5 countries and without US next Friday, Zarif said.
In response to a question on the US attempts to undermine efforts by Europeans, he said they are US allies and are not supposed to sever ties with US.
Cutting ties between Europe and the US is just illusion and is not possible, Zarif added.
