Imam Khamenei Urges Islamic Unity to Confront the US

Leader of the Islamic Revolution His Eminence Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei said the Iranian nation has successfully resisted bullying attempts by arrogant powers over the past four decades thanks to the teachings of Qur'an, the holy book of Islam.
Imam Khamenei made the remarks at a meeting with competitors of 35th edition of the International Holy Quran Contest in Tehran on Thursday.
Commenting on what is taking place in the region, the Imam noted that: "Stupid regimes in some countries are waging wars, committing crimes against other countries."
"Over the past years, we were able to confront the pressures of colonialism despite the will of the enemies."
That the US President Donald Trump shamelessly says, ‘without the US, heads of some Arab states cannot maintain themselves even for a week', is a humiliation for Muslims, the Imam said.
He further urged the Islamic world's unity to confront the US.
