Yemen’s Chief of Supreme Political Council Saleh Al-Sammad, Companions Martyred in Saudi Air Raids

The Chief of Yemen's Supreme Political Council Saleh al-Sammad was martyred late Thursday with his companions in a Saudi air raid that targeted the Yemeni province of al-Hodeidah.
In an obituary, the council announced al-Sammad's martyrdom upon a visit to examine the province.
The council further declared Mahdi Mohammad Hussein al-Mashat as its chief to success martyr al-Sammad in the next round according to the council's internal list.
After discussing the latest developments taking place in Yemen, the council urged the Yemeni crowds to take part in the funeral of the martyrs in the date and place that will be announced later. Additionally, the council declared three days of national mourning.
The council also noted that the slogan of martyr al-Sammad "A hand that builds and a hand that protects" will be the slogan of the next phase and a roadmap for an institutional and constructive job, in parallel with a resistant and inclusive action to confront the invasion and occupation forces no matter what are the challenges.
Yemen's Supreme Political Council further stressed that the Yemeni people will prove to the aggression forces that we, as a leadership, government, institutions and people, represent an unbreakable nation that will keep up its path of resistance following the footsteps of martyr al-Sammad.
Menahwile, the council made clear that this crime will not remain unrevenged; adding that the princes of aggression must know that they will pay a heavy price and won't know security from this very moment.
